Subject: New Commodity Complaint Procedure
Effective with the 2004-2005 school year the USDA Food Distribution Division (FDD) is changing the protocol for managing commodity complaints as follows:
FDD is working to improve their Commodity Complaint System to eliminate inefficiencies in the current process and to streamline and enhance communication at all levels. This new procedure will expedite complaint processing and will enable FDP to submit complaints directly into ECOS and monitor their resolution.
