DAS Communications in the Office of the Commissioner responds to Freedom of Information requests, all media inquiries, issues news releases, handles multiple projects the for Governor and Lieutenant Governor’s offices as well as various state agencies. They develop training videos for DAS and design and implement the agency website.They also publish the monthly DAS Times, InRoads, and the bi-weekly BuyLines newsletters.

Digest of Administrative Reports

Each year the executive branch departments submit to the Governor an annual report of agency activities pursuant to Section 4-60 of the Connecticut General Statutes.  The report is published by DAS Communications in the annual Digest of Administrative Reports to the Governor, which serves as a reference guide for legislators, agency heads, and the general public.  The Digest is now published in electronic format only beginning in FY 2001-2002 and can be accessed on the DAS website.
